Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use Ekmilan. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We verify age at registration and reserve the right to terminate any account found to belong to a minor. If you believe a minor is using our platform, please report it immediately to support@ekmilan.com.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Ekmilan application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
Eligibility & Account Responsibility
- You must be 18 years of age or older
- You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You may not create more than one account or create an account on behalf of another person
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Post fake, misleading, or impersonating profiles
- Upload photos that do not clearly show your face, or that contain nudity or sexually explicit content
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users in any way
- Use the Service for commercial solicitation, spam, or fraudulent purposes
- Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt our servers or networks
- Share another user's private information without their consent
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to interact with the Service
Profile Content & Photos
By uploading content to Ekmilan, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it within the Service for matching and discovery purposes. You retain ownership of your content.
- Profile photos must contain exactly one face — yours
- All photos are screened by automated moderation (Google Vision AI)
- We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without notice
- Do not upload content that belongs to someone else or that infringes any copyright
Matching & Communication
Ekmilan facilitates introductions between users but makes no guarantees about the quality, safety, or suitability of any match. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Exercise caution when sharing personal information or meeting someone in person. Never share financial information with another user.
Location Data
Ekmilan uses your location to show you profiles nearby. Location data is stored and used only for discovery purposes. You can manage location permissions in your device settings at any time. Disabling location access will fall back to your city-level setting.
Account Termination
We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in abusive, fraudulent, or illegal behavior
- Attempt to manipulate or exploit the matching system
- Are found to be under 18 years of age
You may delete your account at any time within the app. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and trademarks belonging to Ekmilan are the intellectual property of Ekmilan and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without our written consent.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that matches will result in any particular outcome. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ekmilan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or damages resulting from interactions with other users.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
